SB 1190 would allow anyone who has received gender-affirming care to sue their doctors for medical malpractice. It will run providers of transgender healthcare out of the state.
I had a surgeon botch a surgery on my dominant hand when I lived in Oklahoma. I tried to sue the doctor (17 years now and still can’t use that hand). They had a tort cap on medical lawsuits that was so low, I couldn’t win the cost to take it to court, making it impossible to sue. THIS is what they’ll adjust those caps for? Not me losing my entire career and all my hobbies due to an actual medical error… 🤬
Yeah, I immediately noticed that too. It’s absolutely disgusting coming from the “tort reform” party. It’s not about helping ‘victims,’ it’s about punishing doctors for providing services they disagree with.

Well no, it explicitly uses the terms “gender transition surgeries,” “gender transition services,” “cross-sex hormones,” and “puberty-blocking drugs.” We’ll have to see the full text of the bill to be sure though.

Republicans intend to murder and erase us all. The 2026 GOPMAGA goals are thus:
1. Remove all legal recognition and documentary evidence of our existence.
2. Ban the very mention of transgender people and history.
3. Ban all gender affirming healthcare.
4. Arrest and execute all transgender people.
5. Arrest and imprison any supporters of transgender human rights.
We are very close to #3. And once on the other side of #3, #s 4 & 5 will come quickly.
Perhaps some kind person will one day drop a white rose upon our unmarked mass graves in remembrance.
But it won't matter to us, will it?
