The Trump admin is now defending its anti-trans prison policies by arguing care for trans adults can be banned because it isn’t healthcare. The consequences will extend far beyond prisons.
The treatment of trans women in American prisons will go down in history as a crime against humanity. It adds to a long list of penal cruelty in the U.S. enacted against minorities of all sorts.
The attack on the rights and safety of a small minority for political purposes is one of the most vile misdeeds of an Administration that only goes lower whenever the opportunity exists to go lower. “Transgender for everyone” has got to be one of the most inane campaign lies perpetrated on ignorant people looking for some group to hate.
FtM bottom surgery is at least 108 years old and MtF bottom surgery is at least 95 years old. Feminizing HRT is also around 100 years old. Masculinizing HRT is much newer, but still predates WW2. If these treatments are still experimental, I don't know what isn't.
All medical conditions are temporary - they persist until one gets adequate treatment (for gender dysphoria, that's transition) or until death... Most people think that trans people deserve suffering and death rather than treatment, so that's what will happen. YAY DEMOCRACY!
Most people DON'T think that. Convincing people that this is true (and the rest of the vile propaganda vomited up by the administration and its scummy "news" universe) is one of the most hideous crimes committed by this administration.

I am doing my best to keep my trans kids (Chosen family of 15 trans guys and girls) safe, cared for and loved. I see them all the time, go places with them, help them at their homes and call/text/ email them to check in.
Some of them even go training, for use of um...how do I say…devices for self-protection, with me. The girls are very good at this. Some have trained me to participate in this…sport…much better.
I love my kids. Have written to Congress, State and local reps, and participated in many other protest-related endeavors, to help stop this madness.
I’m getting more Cis folks to wake the heck up and pay attention. I just want my kids to live happy and have long lives.
I know about 100 trans folks and can testify that they all are the most beautiful, honest, authentic people I’ve ever met.
I can testify that I’ve seen Trans Joy. One of my new sons and I played in the Cleveland Pride Band. I got to see him play his first concert ever, dressed as a boy. It was magic and beautiful.
