In a significant victory, George H.W. Bush appointee Nathaniel Gorton permanently struck down a Trump administration rule that cut coverage for many trans Americans on ACA plans.
I know another judge just gave the Trump administration access to trans kids' medical records--you know, so he can violate more children--but at this point, I'm willing to accept any wins we can get.
I'm quite happy for this result. My BCBS plan is partially paid for by the federal government (I am a retired federal employee) and will not pay for gender affirming care. We still have a long way to go.
So that's my the bcbs plan suddenly cut my care. I thought it was just corporate greed turns out it was deeper than that. Well I look forward to having coverage again next year because I was quite happy with the service I got in 2024/5
